My name is Mrs. Francesca Preston, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I look forward to a year filled with learning, discovery, growth, and plenty of fun along the way.

I live in Spring Lake Heights with my husband, our daughter Charlotte, our sons Reid and Graham, and our labradoodle, Rosie. We love spending time together at the beach and around our wonderful community.

I graduated from The College of New Jersey with degrees in English and Elementary Education and earned my Master’s in Special Education from Kean University. I am also certified in English as a Second Language and have specialized training in structured, multisensory reading instruction. I am a certified dyslexia tutor and teacher that is trained through IMSE and certified through the University of Florida in using multisensory techniques based on an Orton-Gillingham (OG) approach.

This is my seventeenth year teaching, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a wonderful community of students, families, and educators. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, challenged, and valued, while developing confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
