Independent Work Time Expectations and Options

Reading - At least 30 minutes a night, logging reading!

Writing - Writing about reading in our reading journals - I will give students a focus about once a week :) Students can always write reading and writing entries.

Math - Home Connections (2-4 pages per week)

Family Activity - Each week we will have a new Family Activity, this may be playing outside, playing a game with a family member, writing a Thank You card, calling someone who lives far away, reflecting on your goals, etc. You can do them any day of the week, by Thursday night, and we will share about our experiences on Friday!

Parent Communication - Students will complete a Dojo post "Friday Post" on Dojo Portfolio about once a week. Look out for it! You can post back :)
