Our Town

JUNIOR CLASS PLAY 1958

Written by Thornton Wilder, "Our Town" offers a message in the form of a question. Why is it that the living never appreciate and understand the magnificent experience of being alive? The message is presented through Mr. Wilder's artistic capacity to reveal to the audience the souls of his characters. He makes them seem to be old neighbors or good friends, human beings full of life and vitality. The cast is to be congratulated on the fine projection of the play's many characters.
