Barbara Hart

Barbara Ann Miller (née Hart) was an actress and writer who served as the first Treasurer of the Theater Arts Club from 1961 to 1962. Though the Theater Arts Club was not established until 1961, Hart was involved with high school drama as early as 1959, performing in the inaugural 1960 Winter One-Acts, her junior and senior class plays, and a musical. Hart was also involved in ASB, serving as a class representative from 1959 to 1961 and social commissioner from 1961 to 1962.

Hart was additionally an active participant in the annual Winter One-Acts event for all three years it ran. Her performance in the 1960 edition earned her the Best Actress award, and her original one-act play swept the 1962 edition, including Best Play and Best Playwright for Hart. For her efforts in the club, Hart also received the Janet Harris Acting Award in 1962.
