The Iambic Pentameter Award for Breakout Star of the Year is an award presented annually by the Iambic Pentameter Club. It is given to a performer who has delivered an outstanding debut performance in a play that opened that year. The award is traditionally presented by the incumbent Creative Director of Iambic Pentameter.

To be eligible, that year's Iambic Pentameter play does not necessarily have to be their very first performance, but they must have participated in an Iambic Pentameter play in the same year of their debut performance.

The most recent winner of the award is XC Clements, who won for their role as the Watch in Much Ado About Nothing (2021).
