Their exceptional video, centered around the captivating and often mysterious phenomenon of hiccups, stood out among the entries. The students demonstrated their creativity and their scientific acumen in delivering a compelling presentation. This accomplishment not only showcases their dedication and passion for science but also highlights the excellence that our school fosters in its students. A team of three talented Chemistry students from S.4 participated in the "Digi-Science Video Production Competition for Hong Kong Secondary School 2022-2023" organized by The Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification (HKCTC) and The Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education. The theme of the contest was "Food Testing," and participating teams had to produce a two-minute video depicting innovative testing experiments. Our students produced a video showing how to identify the concentration of nitrite (a carcinogenic substance) in processed meat. We are proud to announce that the team won the second runner-up position!

A team of three S.4 Chemistry students has joined the “Digi-Science Video Production Competition for Hong Kong Secondary School 2021-22”. The competition was co-organised by The Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification (HKCTC) and The Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education. The theme of this year’s contest was “Materials Testing Science in Daily Life”. Participating teams were required to produce a two-minute video depicting the innovative testing experiments.
Our students made a video showing how tests could identify the concentration of methyl salicylate in eight brands of pain-relieving medicated oils, which can be bought over the counter or via online shopping platforms. The team has won the first runner-up!

Two teams of our S.2 students took part in ‘Digi-science Video Production Competition for Hong Kong Secondary Schools 2020-2021’, organized by the HKASME.
The team that focused on the Vitamin C content of fruits had won the Second runner-up in the Junior Secondary Section.
The theme of the competition was “Testing Science in Daily Life – Healthcare and Hygiene”. Participants had to make a 2-minute video and a written report to record their research on the selected topic.
