The Youth Media Center will be hosting six special live streaming events this school year. For each, students in 6th through 12th grade will be placed into groups and given one hour to plan a one-hour live show, with conversation, recorded pieces, and music, all related to the theme.
Applications will open up for each event as we get closer to the date.
Celebrate Labor Day with us by discussing Pittsburgh's labor history and the future of work.
Why is it so hard to talk about politics? Join us for a special broadcast live from the polls.
Discuss the past, present, and future of social justice and civil rights to celebrate MLK Day.
Students from our Spring Journalism Institute cohort will share their work and discuss the news landscape.
Teen poets will share their work and reflect on what makes poetry a unique and necessary medium.
Celebrate our seniors before they move on by revisiting what they've learned and accomplished.
