Voices of the Mercy Corridor — Rolling
Calling all aspiring journalists! Do you love to write? Do you love to interview? Do you love to create radio documentaries? Or are you interested in learning how?! This school year, SLB Radio will be conducting the "Voices of the Mercy Corridor" oral history project, where high school students (grades 10th and up) will learn the ins and outs of audio production, journalism, and how to create radio-ready media.
Students who answer the call will create in-depth, authentic, radio documentaries profiling exceptional businesses, people, and the history of the Hill District, Uptown, and Oakland neighborhoods. For more information, reach out to Ben Rutkowski at ben@slbradio.org.
The SLB Radio Youth Media Center is co-located within the Children's Museum at 10 Children's Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
When you arrive, enter through the main doors of the museum and follow the signs to the Youth Media Center, located on the lower level, below the cafe.
