Photography

Comp, Focus, Light

My first assignment for slam photography was composition, focus, and light. I learned that putting people in the center in the photo makes the photo appear dull and not appealing to the eye. I also learned the "rule of thirds" which is a grid you use to help place the object in your photo. Your object should always be in focus and the best lighting is sunrise and sunset.

Slam Line Photo

Lines can make you eyes follow through a photo. Irregular lines can express chaos. Horizontal lines may show stableness. Vertical lines can show stability. I went to San Francisco for my photo because they have many lines there.

Slam Portrait Photo

This is my portrait photo of Debrelle Love. He is a fellow SLAM student. I took this picture during golden hour and I tried to keep the main focus on him.
