#compfocuslight
My first assignment for slam photography is composition, focus, and light. I learned that composition is placement of objects or people in the photo. This leads into the concept of "rule of thirds" which is a grid with thirds that can help composition of a photo. I also learned that the use of focus and light can really make or break a photo.
#slamlinephoto
A line can add character to photos. Horizontal lines may show stableness while vertical lines can show stability. Jagged and irregular lines can express chaos. I went out and tried to express lines in my photo.
#slamshapephoto
Shapes help make a photo interesting. The outline of the chip and the bokeh of the background make the shape. Why always bring chips to a party? In queso emegency
Portrait Photo
I learned that to take a nice portrait photo is to be playful with the model. To be as candid as possible and try to catch a good moment. Altering perspectives, messing with lighting, and different compositions add up to the end results. This assignment stressed me out for some reason.
Architectural Photo
A good architectural photo should have dimension and movement. Different shapes, curves, lines, lights, and shadows can help improve the photo. Symmetry can be a large aspect of architectural photography. All in all, architectural photos can be captured in all types of weather and conditions. Playing around with the dimensions and depths of architect can be fun for architectural photography.
