Graphic Defects

I took a green screen clip of Flo and edited it on top of a background clip. After that, I used a neat tool called keying to take out all of the green, leaving Flo there with nothing behind him. I then color corrected it and added sound. This is the pinnacle of editing. Pure art.

I used final cut's keying feature to make another green screen video. I shot myself in front of a green screen, cut out the green with keying, then put a short video of Steve from Minecraft behind me. Now it looks like I'm in front of our lord and savior. The sound didn't record, but I was saying "This. This is why we can't have nice things."

Here is my very first adobe after effects assignment. I made my name spin around by assigning different positions to different frames. When played, it gives off the effect of spinning. Nice and simple.

Another after effects assignment was this little animation. I used keying, beam affects, motion blur, and color correction to remake this short clip from Revenge of the Sith. I added sound and text in Final Cut later. The result is what you see here.

With adobe after effects, I animated a quote from Shakespeare's hit single, Macbeth. I put solid red text over a static image. Animation presets made the text pop and move. I added sound, the title, and credits in final cut. It's short and to the point. Double double am I right?

In adobe after effects, there's an option called motion tracking. You can assign an object to follow the motion of another, so it looks nicer. In this case, I put text on top of the sign in front of the school. Instead of being static, it followed the motion of the sign.

I took a shot of a mac and assigned motion trackers to each corner. Then I put in one of my top MP4s and it stuck onto the mac's screen. Now it looks like wii_sports_resort_IRL.mp4 is playing on the mac, but in reality, it was edited in. Who would've thought? Movie magic.
