Xello is our college and career readiness software platform that seniors will be utilizing to request all of their important documentation for their college applications. This is also where teachers will upload letters of recommendation.
1. Create Common App profile
2. Connect Common App and Xello
You MUST list all of your colleges
If your school is not on the Common App, please notify school counselor to help with tracking all documents (transcripts, letters of recommendation, fee waivers, etc, are done through Xello)
3. Assign me, Erin Stewart, as Counselor
4. You will be requesting TWO teachers for letters of recommendation through XELLO.
You must notify your ADVISOR that you need a letter or recommendation through EMAIL. Advisors will be writing letters of recommendation in lieu of the counselor. The counselor will not be preparing your letter of recommendation unless otherwise noted.
5. As you complete your applications, you can track your progress on Common App and Xello
6. Please schedule meetings with me before due dates for early admission/decision and regular decision to confirm application completion
7. ONLY SCHEDULE A MEETING WITH ME UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR APPLICATIONS
7. Test scores can be sent on a rolling basis by the application due date.
