You have identified 3 pupils you are friendly with and 3 pupils you work well with. It is unlikely that you will be in a class with all of your friends but we will look at your requests along with the information from your P7 teachers and try to place you with at least one person with whom you work well.
The amount of teachers can vary as you may get more than 1 teacher for a particular subject.
At the very least you will get 1 for:
· RMCE
· English
· Maths
· Science
· Spanish or French
· History
· Geography
· Modern Studies
· Music
· Drama
· Art & Design
· Health & Food Tecnology
· Design & Technology
· Business & Computing
· PE
· Registration
· Guidance
That is at least 17.

For your own safety, I am afraid the answer is no. You can bring a packed lunch or spend your lunch money at the canteen or vending machines (which are stocked with sandwiches and cookies).
Sorry, the answer is still no.
There is an excellent choice of hot meals that changes daily including curry, pasta, pizza, fish & chips, soup etc. There is also a fine selection of sandwiches, paninis, pizinis and cold drinks.
Pupils who are entitled to free meals can use their Young Scot card to pay for their lunch. This gets topped up automatically every day.
Pupils who pay for school meals can top up their Young Scot Card via Parent Pay or can pay at the till with cash.
Some of you may not have the Young Scot card as the schools closed before you received them. Please don’t worry as we will have a system in place to deal with paying for meals and allocating free meals when the school re-opens.
The Head Teacher asks all staff to be vigilant with uniform.
Everyone asks you to wear:
· School Blazer
· White school shirt (not a black or grey shirt)
· School tie
· Black school skirt, Tartan skirt or black school trousers – no shorts
· Black v neck jumper or cardigan – that allow school ties to be seen (no crewnecks)
· Black outdoor jacket
· Black school shoes – no black trainers with white soles or white logos.
There is also a school PE kit which you can buy from our uniform supplier Academy Uniforms (see the details below). Can I ask all pupils to bring their PE kit on the first day just in case you are due to have PE on the first day.
When you arrive at St Andrew’s and St Bride’s on the first day, you will be asked to go to the assembly area in front of the stage in the street. From there you will meet your Head of Year and he will tell you where to go.
All the teachers are very sympathetic and understand if you get lost so you will not get into trouble. We will have in place S3 guides to take you to and from class on your first few days.
You will also have a timetable which will tell you where to go and at what time.
