Religious Education

We are a denominational school.  Our school ethos is proudly based on the Gospel values that permeate all we do.  Our partnership with the parish of St. Mary's and St. Paul's allows us to attend mass regularly as a whole school.  Our R.E. Curriculum is based on the syllabus for religious education in Catholic schools called This is our Faith.  We use this alongside God's Loving Plan which provides guidance to us on how children can be helped to develop healthy and respectful attitudes to their bodies and to relationships with families and friends.  Pupils in Primary 3, 4 and 7 receive important Sacraments throughout the year.  It is a privilege to be involved in the preparation and in their special day.  We are very grateful to Fr. O'Brien, our parish priest, who is a regular visitor to the school.
