The Day in Life of a Primary 1 

Pupils can arrive at 8.45 and wait in the yard until the bell rings at 9am (no adults are permitted in yard in the morning).

Pupils will enter and get organised for the day ahead: coats off, shoes changed, registration, order lunch and learning begins.

Pupils will have a number of learning experiences each day e.g. Literacy, Numeracy, R.E., Social Studies, P.E., Expressive Arts and Technologies.

Children will go for their lunch at 12:15pm, they are entitled to a free school lunch or they can bring a packed lunch.

Parents should pick up children from their classroom door at 3pm or children will be escorted to the school bus if using school transportation.
