**SCHOOL LUNCHES - SPECIAL DIETS**

*** Please note all special diet requests should be submitted before the end your child's P7 school year to ensure that it is in place for starting Trinity High in Aug 2024***

If your child requires a special diet for medical reasons, you should obtain a Special, medically prescribed diet, or intolerance registration form from your primary school office and send with an accompanying letter from a medical practitioner or dietician confirming the specific details of the diagnosis to Facilities Services via the address given on the form.

Any pupil who requires a Vegan or Halal menu can do so through the Special diet request form also available from your primary school office.

More information can be found on the SLC Website at:  https://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/info/200259/education_benefits/291/school_lunches/7#:~:text=If%20your%20child%20requires%20a,the%20diagnosis%20to%20Facilities%20Services

Trinity High School Placing Requests

Normally, pupils will attend the school that serves the area where they live. However, there are times when parents want their children to go to another school.

Secondary (first year) children

If your child is starting S1 in August 2024 and you do not want them to attend their catchment school but come to Trinity High school instead, you can make a placing request. The best time to submit placing requests for the next school session is from mid January until mid March and you should receive a response no later than mid May.

If your child attends a Trinity High School feeder primary but you do not live in our catchment area then you will have to submit a placing request.

All placing requests for Trinity High School can be made using the following link from mid Jan 24 until mid March 24:

https://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/forms/form/79/secondary_school_placing_request

You can check your catchment area schools by entering your current postcode on the following link:

**EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS**

Please remember that these are the clubs that are currently running for this year and they may change next year when you are in S1.  If you have any good ideas for clubs and there is demand then we will look to see if it is possible to get them up and running.

We would love for as many of you as possible to get involved.  No experience necessary!  It is also a great way to meet other parents / carers.  If you are interested, please contact the school on  0141 646 3650 and pass on your details.
