Parents are invited to follow their student’s schedule and meet teachers and administrators on Wednesday, August 26. You will receive an email from the school with your students schedule on it next week. You can also access it via the Infinite Campus Parent app. Parents should report to the first period class by 6:45 p.m. Allow for plenty of time as many people will be arriving at the same time. The event should conclude around 8:45 p.m.
The first week and a half went about as well as it can go, and that is because families were patient with the line and with each other. It is already moving much faster than the first couple of days. Thank you.
Three things to keep it running:
Pull all the way forward. If there is space in front of you, take it, and keep taking it. This is the single biggest thing that keeps the line moving. Do not stop short to wait for your student. Your kid will find you.
No one crosses the drive lane. Meet your student at the curb in front of the building. Cars are moving through a tight space, drivers are watching the car ahead of them, and a lot of those drivers got their license a few months ago. A student stepping out between vehicles is nearly impossible to see. This is the one we will not bend on. If you see students crossing with Mr. Bantam, that is a permitted crossing at the crosswalk with an adult, which is a very different thing.
Follow the route. Enter the drive lane in the middle of the student lot, immediate left down the row closest to 156th, left at the bottom, then follow the curb around to the front. Drop-off and pick-up happen at the front curb only, not in the visitor lot and not in the middle of the drive lane.
Pro tip: if your afternoon has any flexibility, come at 3:30 and you will be in and out.
Parents interested in the March for Life 2027 are invited to a short information meeting on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:15 p.m., just before Mini School Night. The meeting will be in Room B103 (Deacon Zavaletta's room). Miss French will go over plans for the pilgrimage and how to apply for financial assistance. Attending is not required for your child to participate. The goal is simply to give parents a better understanding of the pilgrimage as you decide whether to send your child.

GrandHawks Mass - September 4
Each year, we host a special event for our students to share their school and enjoy time with their GrandHawks. GrandHawks Mass is scheduled for Friday, September 4 at 9 a.m. at Moylan Field. After Mass, students will be dismissed to spend the day with their GrandHawks. Families are invited to stay for a student-led tour of our campus, or venture out to enjoy brunch together. Please note that GrandHawks are not just grandparents but this distinction also includes friends or relatives who are special to a student.
All GrandHawks in our database will receive an invitation in the mail. We ask that they RSVP using this link or call the school office.
