Signing Day

National Letter of Intent is no longer tied to specific dates.  Many colleges have their own unique timelines for singing aide agreements.  Skutt Catholic has one day in the Fall and one day in the Spring where we celebrate those athletes signing aide agreements to play collegiate athletics.  Our 2026-2027 dates are:  November 11 and April 14.  Please reach out to your sport-specific coach to make sure you are included on one of these dates!

Physicals

All athletes need a physical EACH year (2025-26 will NOT work).  This must be dated AFTER May 1, 2026 to be used for the 2026-27 sports season.

Thursday, October 1: 6:30 p.m. at Mercy

Monday, October 19: 6:00 p.m. at Creighton Prep

Monday, October 26: 6:00 p.m. at Duchesne

7:00 p.m. Following the 10/26 Duchesne Financial Aid Presentation, a representative from Boston

College will speak about selective college admission. All are welcome to attend.

All three dates include a presentation by Dr. Sarah Richardson, Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment

Management and Director of Admissions and Scholarships at Creighton University. Dr. Richardson and

members of her team will provide an overview of the various ways to finance a college education. Topics will

include need-based aid and merit-based scholarships, benefits of completing the FAFSA (Free Application

for Federal Student Aid), cost components included in college tuition and fees, how to read a financial aid

award letter, and tools and resources to understand and help offset college costs.

Counselors Out of Office: Skutt Catholic Counselors will be out of the office October 7th thru October 9th to attend the National Association of College Admissions Counseling Conference. All issues should be directed to Mr. Meyers or Mr. Bailey.

President's Wish List to Support Behavioral Health Program at Skutt Catholic

This year's President's Wish List at Angel Flight directly supports our Behavioral Health Program at Skutt Catholic. This vital initiative provides our students with on-site professional, faith-based mental health care in a familiar, confidential environment. Through our partnership with Catholic Charities, we are able to sustain our full-time therapist and school counseling team, while empowering student leadership through our new Hope Squad. Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 for the President's Wish List at Angel Flight.
