Monsignor James E. Gilg Performing Arts Center is Now Open!

Skutt Catholic held a joyous ceremony last Monday to officially bless and dedicate their stunning new performing arts center, named in honor of Monsignor James E. Gilg. School leaders and supporters gathered to witness the momentous occasion.  Archbishop Lucas bestowed his blessings upon the new facility, officially ushering in a new era for the performing arts at Skutt Catholic.

HawkWalk 2024

Thank you very much for your support of HawkWalk!  We exceeded our goal of raising $65,000 and are currently just over $67,000.  The students who raised $75 have free dress days April 25 through May 3.

FBLA Toy Drive


Do you have old toys and games taking up space? Donate them to the Skutt Catholic FBLA Toys and Games Recycling Drive!  Donations will be collected April 18-30. We will accept used toys, games and puzzles in good condition. Items should not be broken, have excessive wear and tear or missing pieces. Skutt Catholic students can drop off donations in room A154 or you can email elizabethrudden@skuttcatholic.com to schedule a drop-off. All donations will be delivered to the Open Door Mission!


Drivers Education

SkyHawk Camps

Kids ages 5-14 can have some summertime fun when they soar with the SkyHawks at our SkyHawk Summer Camps. We have many camps listed and open for registration. More will be added as we work out details. Visit SkyHawkCamps.com to learn more and to register NOW! 


Senior Tie-Dye Party

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents: It is a long-standing tradition that on the senior's last day they come to school in a white uniform polo that has been tie-dyed.  Sponsored by the Kelsay, McGill, Osborn, and Sliva Families, on May 5 at 6 p.m., seniors can come to Skutt Catholic for pizza, tie-dye, and another moment to spend together.  The cost is $30 and the price includes a polo.  All proceeds benefit Angel Flight 2023.  Click HERE to sign up.

Select 12 Award at Baccalaureate

Senior Parents:  Your son/daughter received a form last week to apply for the prestigious "Select 12" Award to be handed out at Baccalaureate (and on a plaque in perpetuity outside the Activities Office).  

Part of the qualifications is to have participated in 12 sports/activities throughout high school.  The other part is getting seniors to fill out the form (sometimes the toughest challenge).  Please encourage your son/daughter to accomplish this task if they qualify!

Sports Pass for 2023-2024

Juniors: Counselor Meetings Start 4/29

Juniors, spring one-on-one meetings with your counselor start Monday, 4/29. It is very important that you attend, so your counselor can help make sure you are off to a good start on your college search. The appointment schedule can be found in your grade level classroom folder. Please complete the survey in Scoir prior to your appointment. 

Catholic Charities Health Memo: Building Health Relationships

Our behavioral health partner, Catholic Charities, has created a mental health memo with information about building health relationships and communication. Read the memo HERE (English) or HERE (Español). If you have concerns about your child, please be sure to notify their school counselor.

FAM Is Almost Over-Great Job SkyHawks!

Six years ago, Skutt Catholic began the tradition of declaring April as Financial Assistance Month (FAM), focusing our entire community on this need.

TRIVIA NIGHT BROUGHT IN:  $38,247

Stock the Staff Lounge Donations

At the beginning of each semester, the SkyHawk Association invites families to provide food and drink donations to stock the staff lounge at school.
