Extended Essay Guide

The extended Essay is a 3000-4000 word essay that is essential for the success of a diploma candidate. The essay can be written on various core ib subjects; however, the student is responsible for establishing their subject and argument. If the results of the essay reaches a certain standard, (Refer to EE Scoring Chart) then the student is eligible for extra points (24 is the minimum to attain the diploma).
