Visit the Student Organization web page to find clubs to get involved in as a student at SJU. Your involvement in clubs can show an admissions committee what interests you have outside of school that make you a well-rounded candidate. Joining a professional association will also help you learn more about your desired health profession. If you feel as though our campus is missing an organization, you can start one yourself! Ask yourself: How can I demonstrate that I can be a leader and work effectively on a health care team?
The Institute of Clinical Bioethics also faciltiates the Health Promoter Clinics, which serve specific communities whom are traditionally underserved. Each program is meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of specific populations, ensuring that the underserved receive comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and no-cost healthcare. If you're hoping to get connected with serving in the clinics, please complete the contact form.
Here you can find a list of the health profesions related student groups.

Many work-study positions are posted by campus offices to Handshake, the Career Center’s online job posting site. In order to apply to open positions, you’ll need to upload an updated, college-level resume to your Handshake profile; once your resume is reviewed you’ll receive either feedback for improvement or an approval notice.
Some offices do not post positions on Handshake due to the volume of jobs they need to fill. You’ll need to approach the following departments individually to explore jobs in their departments:
Aramark
Campus Recreations and Athletics
Library
Barnes & Noble Bookstore
