CODE OF CONDUCT: All camp participants will conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming to all participants and free from any form of discrimination and harassment. Participants will treat each other with respect and consideration to create a supportive, inclusive, and professional environment. Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct will result in removal from the camp.
DRESS CODE: Since the campers will be working in a physics lab, for their safety, it is required that they dress appropriately and comfortably. We require long pants (no shorts or skirts), a shirt, and sneakers.
FOOD: A free boxed lunch, consisting of water, chips, dessert, and a wrap, sandwich, or salad (with vegetarian option based on answers in the Online Camp Application), will be provided. If you require a more specialized diet, you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
SAFETY: Safety of campers is paramount to the organizers. Campers are instructed to listen attentively, read the safety instructions provided by the organizers and crew members, and comply with them. When in doubt, ask your camp crew. When performing experiments, campers must wear safety glasses and prescribed protective gear.
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP: Detailed Instructions are on the Link to Campus Map in the Camp website. Camp starts promptly at 9:30am and ends at 3 pm, except on Day 4 when it ends at 4 pm. On DAY 1, camp crew wearing camp shirts will welcome you at IPEX Lobby (see campus map link on website) at 9-9:30am. Parents and guardians must sign-in/sign-out their camper and show their picture ID’s. On subsequent days, parents and guardians should bring their camper directly to IPEX 311B. Pick-up is from 3:00-3:30 pm at IPEX 311B where parents/guardians must pick up their camper after showing their ID. Campers can only be released to parents/guardians or individuals authorized by them for which documentation must be provided in advance.

Plant Visit to Puratos Corporation's R&D and Manufacturing Plant on June 25 (Wednesday), 2025: To see how physics is applied in a real-world setting, one of our sponsors - Puratos Corporation in Pennsauken, NJ has opened its doors to a scientific plant visit on June 25 to Physics Wonder Girls Campers from Camps 1 and 2. The camp is renting a school bus that will take campers from the Campus to Puratos and back. No jewelry allowed (e.g. no earrings, rings can go into manufacturing area). Dress code: No shorts, No skirts, No dresses, only long pants and shirt), wear sneakers (some walking entailed during tour). Wear Physics Camp Shirt, please. Camper Drop-off on June 25 is 8:45-9:15 am, allowing us to leave campus at 9:30 am.
