Dr. Claire Major is a Distinguished Teaching Professor of Higher Education at The University of Alabama and Faculty Director of the University of Alabama Teaching Academy. Her teaching and research interests center on instructional approaches and instructional technology. Claire has authored and co-authored eleven books and published more than 40 articles in top-tier journals. She has presented her research at national and international conferences and has delivered public lectures and conducted workshops, both in person and online, for dozens of colleges and universities across the United States and internationally. She is also the co-founder of the Cross Academy. Claire’s work demonstrates a commitment to teaching excellence and innovation in higher education.
