Theorectical and hands-on experience with various methods in computational materials science and engineering. It will include electronic structure calculation and molecular simulation using various software packages such as Quantum Espresso, Phonopy, LAMMPS and other online tools and visualization softwares such as VESTA and VMD.

Crystalline and energy band structure of materials, thermal properties and electrical conduction in semiconductors and metals, optical and magnetic properties of solids.
