Since most customers requested higher performance or speed, we made the 5 GHz band appear in their network options. 5 GHz has more channels for communication. Usually, there aren't as many competing devices on the newer band. But by design, 5 GHz can’t reach as far. Similarly, if you're doing a lot of high-bandwidth activities online, such as gaming or videoconferencing, it's best to use this frequency and move as close as possible
Press Power/OK to view next options.
Press Power/OK to highlight the 5GHz Channel we want to use and press Power/Next to select.
Press Menu/Next to view Mobile Data status, press Power/OK to select Mobile Data ON/OFF.
How many devices can I connect to the hotspot?
You may connect up to 4 devices at a time.
Is there a data limit?
No, our plan is 4 G Mobile Broadband Unlimited.
Ignore the date on the screen; it’s for the billing cycle but doesn’t impact data
Is there a data speed cap or speed limitations?
Yes, there is a cap on the data speed.
We get 25GB of high-speed hotspot data.
Once you use 25GB, the speed will slow down for the remainder of the billing cycle.
Can customers use the 2.4 GHz Band?
No, the network is turned off and should not appear in network options. However, if a customer has changed the device settings and selected the 2.4 Band, they will experience issues when attempting to connect.
You will need to ensure that they select the 5GHZ band under device settings.
