AI and Academic Integrity

The Student Academic Integrity Policy has been updated to include a Student Appeal Process for students who wish to contest any academic sanctions imposed as a result of academic integrity violations (including, but not limited to, use of generative AI that is unethical or dishonest). Students have up to 10 days after being notified of the violation to submit an appeal to the Academic Disqualification & Reinstatement Review Committee (ADRRC). The full process is outlined in Section 5.3 of the University Policy on Academic Integrity.
