It is that time of year again!!!  We cannot wait to see all of our wonderful Kids of Christ!  It has been quiet in the halls and our hearts are ready share all we have been working on this summer with our students! 

We have a few things that will be different this year.  The first is when we take our school pictures.  School pictures will be offered on Friday, August 8th from 8am to 1pm.  It is a come and go schedule, so whenever you can find the time to stop by, please do.  The pictures will be for our students and for the preschoolers.  You will want to enter the main door (A) and proceed to the music room.  Not only can you get your picture taken that day, but you can also pick up your school packet.  Those can be found at the office.  Do not fear, if you cannot make it on the 8th, there will be retakes on Sept. 30th.  Also, if you are unable to pick up your packet that day, packets can be found in the church foyer.

Another change is our Open House.  It will be held a bit earlier this year.  The doors will be open August 14th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  You are invited to come meet your teacher, see your classroom, and drop off supplies if you would like to.

To start our school year off right, we will be throwing a Back to School picnic after 10:30 mass on Sunday, August 24th.  It will start at 11:30am and will be located in the lower parking lot.  All school and parish members are invited!  It will be a fun time for fellowship.  There will be no cost.

Our After School Program will be managed by The Boys & Girls Club of Pierre this year.  The program will look exactly the same as the past with the same expectations and spiritual presence.  ASP will start on Thursday, Aug. 21st this school year.  An email to sign up will be sent out on Aug. 4th at 7am.
