Happy November!
We have made it through the first quarter of the school year! The students and staff impress me everyday!!!
We start off this month with our yearly Extravaganza! It is a super fun night where the community gets together to celebrate the school and earn money for years to come! It lands on All Saints Day this year. Feel free to pop in. Tickets are sold at the door. This year we will have a dueling piano group perform! We have wonderful things at the auction and wonderful people to socialize with! Hope to see you there at 5:30pm at the Ramkota in Pierre.
After a fun weekend, students will celebrate All Saints Day with an assembly and scavenger hunt. They may wear a costume that portrays a saint or what the saint is the patron of.
On November 11th at 9am, we will celebrate veterans with a Veteran's Day program in the gym. The students can wear red, white, and blue to school that day. Please come to give thanks to the veterans for their service with us!
Finally at the end of the month we will take a few days off for Thanksgiving! It is a beautiful time to focus on all the things and people we are thankful for! They students will be dismissed at 12:30 on November 26th.
We at St. Joseph School are most thankful to be able to learn and talk about God each and every day! We are thankful to all of you that make it possible!!!
