Viking Cove is looking for safe solutions for our program as we prepare to reopen.
Viking Cove consists of homework, computer time, snack, and playtime.
Viking Cove will be taking students outside weather permitting.
Sts. Joseph and John School offers a safe, teacher-operated after-school care program. The faculty and staff of Sts. Joseph and John School offer an after-school care program for students enrolled in our school.
Vikings Cove is available for students in grades K-8 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Students will enjoy an after-school snack, participate in supervised homework time and then explore a variety of activities directed by Sts. Joseph and John teachers and aides.
If you are not interested at this time, but find a need for the program during the school year, you may register at a later date. Vikings Cove begins on the first day of school and is offered everyday classes are in session except the last day before Christmas break, any other scheduled early release days, and the last day of school. Vikings Cove will be held in the Visionary Center.
The cost for aftercare will be $4 per hour per student with a minimum charge of $8 (or two hours). Charges are billed in 60-minute increments regardless of the amount of time the student is in aftercare for that hour.
Parents will pick them up from a designated point person at Door E. Enrolled parents will notify the Cove 10 minutes to arrival via REMIND so the child can be escorted to the door and the parent does not need to enter the building. We will have an SJJ teacher at the door to escort students and sign them out.
