Submission Guidelines

This challenge is open to students in academic year groups Year 6- Year 13 at FOBISIA schools.

Only submissions made by the teacher at the FOBISIA school will be accepted. Students should submit their work to their teacher to upload on their behalf.

The main submission should be a video of the creative process and must be a maximum of 2 minutes long. It can be edited, sped up, have music etc and must:

• Begin with an image of the design (digitally designed or hand-drawn), 

• Move to a video image of the model with a bare face, 

• Should then show the makeup application from the start,

• Should finish with a close-up of the finished design from all angles.

• Should have a voiceover which explains the concept and any techniques used. 

The artist can either paint the look onto themself or can use a model and apply the makeup onto them. 

A maximum of 3 images can be submitted along with the video to represent the finished, realised design. 

BELOW IS AN EXAMPLE FROM ONE OF LAST YEAR'S WINNERS AMALINA. 

There is no live element to this challenge, winners will be announced on the website after the submission deadline. 

We don't wish to limit submissions per school, this is a FOBISIA event that we want as many students as possible to take part in and experience the joy of stage make-up artistry!
