How it works:
Each class will earn points every day they attend PE using a consistent rubric that focuses on participation and effort, sportsmanship and respect, listening and following directions, safety, and teamwork. Points are awarded daily, and these daily scores will be tracked throughout the entire month.
At the end of the month, the class with the highest total number of points will be recognized as Class of the Month. This recognition is not based on athletic ability, but on positive choices, effort, and respectful behavior.
The goal is to promote a positive learning environment, reinforce expectations, and motivate students to work together and take pride in their behavior during Physical Education.
Below is a presentation with specific behaviors and criteria for how to earn points in class.
