Field Trips

Volunteering to supervise field trips is an excellent way to support your child’s teacher, spend time with your child and their classmates.  Please note that this role is supervisory in nature and you may not necessarily be paired with your child during the field trip.  You may be called upon to supervise other children in separate groups, at times, throughout the trip.  There are a limited number of volunteer spaces for each field trip, and in some cases none.  All parents have an equal opportunity to volunteer, and so it may not be possible to volunteer on every field trip.
