Science Fair Projects are well underway! The due date for the Science Fair project is March 8, 2019. These projects will be on display for our open house that will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019.

Catholic Schools Week begins Saturday January 26, 2019 with our annual, friendly competition of Battle of the Buildings at York Catholic. Monday January 28th is mission dress down, Tuesday a student who participated in the Claire's Gourmet fund raiser will chosen to collect money in the money machine. Wednesday Is the Faith Bee for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. That will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the social hall. There will also be an assembly in the afternoon. There will be family skating at the roller skating rink in York, across from York Catholic. Thursday is the Spelling Bee for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders at 9:30 in the social hall. Wednesday and Thursday are parent visitation days from 9-11 a.m. Friday is the Geography Bee after mass in the social hall. At 2:30 Friday afternoon, we will have our second annual dodge ball game, faculty vs. sixth graders.

Just a few reminders: We are starting our box tops for education competition. The class with the most box tops at the end of each month will get ice cream at lunch time on the last Friday of the month.

Congratulations Sixth Grade! Our very smart and hard working sixth graders have won the fall competition for Sumdog. Eighty classes qualified and 1,692 students participated and Saint John's class of 11 students came in first place. Way to go!
