Welcome to sixth grade! My name is Mrs. Doyle and I will be your sixth grade teacher. I am very excited to work with each of you and get to know you. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I love to have fun and laugh. My classroom needs to be a happy fun place, so make sure you bring your sense of humor!
I grew up in Towson, Maryland and moved to Salisbury, Maryland when I went to college. I received my teaching degree at Salisbury University, and then I ended up teaching on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for many years. When I was living in Salisbury I met my husband of 25 years and we have had five great Children. They are truly our pride and joy. We also have a dog named Charlie. He is the best dog ever.
I taught for 10 years in Maryland and then we moved to Pittsburgh, when we decided I would stay home with our children. I was home for 14 years and when I went back to teaching I started out as a technology teacher at Saint Rose of Lime. I then moved to Saint Patrick's Elementary School where I taught art. I then found my way here to Saint John the Baptist, where I have been teaching for the last four years. During my time here, I have earned level II certification and I have also earned my Basic Cathechetical Certificate. I have seen our school grow by leaps and bounds, and I feel so privileged to be a part of it. I look forward to continuing to make our school the best it can be!
