Welcome to 4th and 5th Grade Math and Science

This year, we will be using Sadlier and IXL for  Math, and doing a variety of Inquiry based Science studies.  We will also be doing several interdisciplinary units combining History, Literature, Science and Math.

We are working hard this year to help students take responsibility for their things, organization, homework and learning.  We will be asking more difficult questions that require inference and thought beyond facts.  They will also be writing in their planner everyday, and will start having planner checks.  You can help them by asking them to show you their planner, and having discussions about the class material.  Ask deeper questions, that you can search for together!
