Percival was the victim/participant of a false flag operation initiated by a SIS rival.  Several people died including Indigenous Australians.  An Indigenous leader blamed Percival for the operation and had him cursed. For the next several months every morning Percival found himself awaking in a new swamp with a different Bunyip form. After Percival was declared missing in action and dead an internal SIS investigation completed and correctly reassigned operational blame and and the Indigenous leader had Percival's curse partially lifted. After this Percival would occasionally wake as a human and began slowly gaining control of his condition. He contacted one of his undercover handlers. The SIS left his official status as inactive/deceased and arranged for him to receive credentials for work in USA and suggested he go to Omaha the epicenter of the world's new supranational condition. Percival has been instructed to get control of his condition at which time the SIS will consider his reinstatement as an active field agent.
