Zakarias Sjöström Dyrefelt

I am a mathematician working in Complex Geometry, specifically canonical Kähler metrics, stability, and related questions. Since 2022 I am a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at Aarhus University, Denmark, and until 2025 I will also be an AIAS - COFUND II Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Previously I was a SISSA Mathematical Fellowship holder at SISSA in Trieste, Italy,  and held postdoctoral fellowships at ICTP (with C. Arezzo) and Chalmers University of Technology (with R. Berman). My PhD was received in 2017 from a joint program between École Polytechnique, Paris, and Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, under the joint supervision of Sébastien Boucksom and Vincent Guedj. The title of my dissertation was "K-stabilité et variétés kähleriennes avec classe transcendante", defended on 15/09/2017 to the following jury: Paul Gauduchon (Chairman), Jacopo Stoppa (Rapporteur), Robert Berman (Rapporteur), Eveline Legendre, Julien Keller, Sébastien Boucksom (Adviser) and Vincent Guedj (Adviser).

I have papers and preprints

Students and postdocs:

I am currently co-supervising (with J. Stoppa) a PhD student Sohaib Khalid based at SISSA. In the period May 2022 - May 2024 I hosted Michael Hallam as a postdoctoral fellow at Aarhus University.

Activities:

I am one of the co-organizers of the recently started "Aarhus-Gothenburg complex geometry seminar series", together with A. Otiman, C. Spotti, L. Sektnan, D. Witt-Nyström and R. Berman. If you are interested in joining the next edition, please contact me or one of the other organizers.

In June 2022 I co-organized a workshop "Kähler and non-Kähler geometry: New developments and interactions", at Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies, Aarhus, together with Alexandra Otiman and Cristiano Spotti. Ongoing and upcoming teaching:

In the academic years 2022 - 24 I will be teaching "Advanced topics in complex analysis" (fall) and "Differential equations" (spring), at Aarhus University. Students are referred to the course webpages on Brightspace.
