Topics covered during the hunt.

Participants will receive hands on instruction on the following topics:

• Decoy selection and set-up.
• Selecting a shotgun and patterning.
• Types of blinds and set-up.
• Turkey identification and biology.
• How to clean and cook a wild turkey.
• Regulations and license opportunities.
• Identifying turkey sign and how to select a location.
• Turkey hunting safety and ethics.

Throughout the weekend they will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of volunteer instructors with 300+ years of combined turkey hunting experience and should learn all the necessary skills to be a successful turkey hunter. This is a family event where are goal is to teach the parents as well as the kids so they will have the ability to take them turkey hunting on their own.
