New Student Help

Is Spanish for you? (click to find out!)

Step 1: Application process (completed by guardian)

New Student Interest Form (Please read "What IS Virtual School Spanish first)

Tips from former students:

  • Create a notes page for all of your Spanish log on passwords!

  • I wish I knew we would have to speak. I wish I'd known about Duolingo, so I would actually know some words so I could practice before the first day

  • Don't freak out and study for tests

  • Pay attention to everything the teachers say

  • Listen to my classmates mistakes. I can learn and fix my own

  • Wake up earlier

  • Speak LOUD

  • Don't take this class lightly

  • Create good study habits. Start right from the beginning making your study slips and try not to break the habit

  • Don't be afraid to ask questions because it won't be as confusing and you'll know what to do next time

  • It's OK if you don't know the answer, just simply ask if you don't understand

  • Take notes on things you may slip up on

  • Get my headphones before I sit down

  • Work on Spanish accents before starting the class itself, and learn the Spanish alphabet
