I'm Ms. Coyle and I was the school Library Media Specialist at DuPont Middle School for over 20 years. Student literacy and education are important, and I hope this site can help ALL students in their efforts to succeed!
Unlike the public library, a school library media center is an instructional area especially tailored to the learning curriculum. For those students who become comfortably familiar with its resources and how to use them, the reward is great. The task of the school library media specialist is to teach users the best way to use resources. In this way, the SLMS plays an important role in your academic success. In addition to instruction, the SLMS manages the facility and collaborates with teachers to design the best possible learning experiences for students.
