Hatz

The Hatz company was founded in 1880 and has been owned by the HATZ family ever since. Engines have been produced since 1904 - initially gasoline engines, since 1910 semi-diesel engines and since 1918 diesel engines. Today Hatz produces diesel engines in the range from 1,5 to 56 kW, along with approx. 2.2 million components for the automotive industry. Since the foundation of the Hatz Components segment about 25 years ago, sales have grown steadily. The product portfolio includes connecting rods, crankshafts, rocker arms, bearing brackets, shafts and various housings. Currently, the manufacture of connecting rods has the largest share in sales. Today, they are processed at Hatz on largely automated production lines. The most modern production line, which was only commissioned recently, is a fully automated and state-of-the-art plant: specifically planned and installed in order to meet the high requirements flexibly and efficiently.
