While I enjoy Rock Creek Park and the Sligo Creek Trails, I spend parts of my summer cycling and guiding tours in Southeast Alaska. This past summer I took 5 people on a 360 mile trip from Haines to Skagway, AK. Visit www.cyclealaska.com for more information about one of the best cycling outfitters in AK!

I have been playing music since I was 13 and try to catch as many shows as I can - jazz, rock, pop punk, hardcore punk, post-punk, hip hop, nu, grunge, emo, alt-folk, alt-rock, post-rock, shoe gaze, new wave, blues, bluegrass, roots, classical, noise. This is me playing with the Rev. Neil Down (http://deeringanddown.com/rev-neil-down), and I had the privilege of sitting in for a personal concert from the Zawose Family (https://realworldrecords.com/artist/402/hukwe-zawose/)

In preparation for the inevitable apocalypse I recently delved into the lost art form of canning. Everything tastes better pickled. Ball should be your first stop (http://www.freshpreserving.com).
