Membership

Membership Requirements:

• Must be a currently licensed HAM Radio Operator through the FCC

• Submit Application for vetting through the County of Yuma Arizona Office of Emergency Management

• Complete FEMA Online Courses:

1.  IS-100 Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS)**

2. IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents**

3.  IS-700 Intro to National Incident Management System (NIMS)**

4. IS-800 Intro to National Response Framework**

**Within 6 Months; click the links above to see the FEMA training web pages

• Must attend  monthly YACS General Meetings

• Serve as Wednesday Night Net Control at least once every 3 months

• Participate in two Y.A.C.S. events including parades, community awareness events, field drills, technical trainings and Yuma County Emergency Management activations.
