Main Developer
The Open Cloud Robot Table Organization Challenge (OCRTOC) is launched in IROS 2020 focusing on lowering the barrier of conducting robotic research in the domain of grasping and manipulation. I am responsible for developing the pybullet simulation environment for the competition.
Group Leader
The University of Edinburgh (UoE) and Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (AIRS) collaboration project. This project aims at fundamental and applied researches in artificial intelligence and robotics. The current research focus on the areas of perception, motion planning and control in the field of high dimensional robotics system and HRI. I am the group leader of the topic on Multi-Contact Planning and Control.
Investigator
The Future AI and Robotics for Space (FAIR-SPACE) Hub aims at pushing the boundary of AI robotics for future space utilization and exploration. In the immediate term, the Hub will help advance knowledge and technologies in orbital manipulation, extra-terrestrial vehicles, and robotic support for astronaut missions. In the long term, the Hub will help transfer the field to a new era by achieving long-lived robotic operations in space.
Investigator
CogIMon is a EU-funded research project in the Horizon 2020 Work Programme. The robotics project is part of the Industrial Leadership pillar and hosted by the section for Information and Communication Technologies.
Investigator
WALK-MAN is a 4 years integrated project (IP) funded by the European Commission through the call FP7-ICT-2013-10. The project started on September 2013 and has the goal to develop a robotic platform (of an anthropomorphic form) which can operate outside the laboratory space in unstructured environments and work spaces as a result of natural and man-made disasters.
