Postdoc positions available in Xing Wang’s Nucleic Acids Programming Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

We are looking for self-motivated postdoc candidates to join the lab to work on the research projects focused on designer DNA nanostructure-based disease diagnostics and therapeutics [1-3]. The candidate will have the opportunities to work and interact closely with our excellent collaborators with diverse expertise, including electrical engineering, bioengineering, cryo-EM imaging, super-resolution imaging, organic chemistry, chemical biology, and AI and Big Data.



Candidate with the following qualifications will be given priority consideration:

• Experience in DNA (origami) nanostructure design and characterizations (PAGE, AGE, AFM, TEM).

• Experience in nucleic acid chemistry and surface modifications.

• Background in chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysics.

• Experience in basic bacterial cell culture and molecular cloning.
