The system TeSLA 1500 is a laser welding and cutting device designed to be inserted into coil lines and specifically produced to operate on electrical steel sheets characterized by very reduced thicknesses.
The TeSLA 1500 is capable to perform the head-to-head junction (butt weld) of the head and tail of two coils without overlap of the GOES strip, with high accuracy, in short time and in complete automation.
The TeSLA 1500 system allows the realization of a laser welding process designed specifically in order to provide to the welding joints, dimensions and mechanical characteristics that:
ensure the resistance of the weld
allow subsequent processing without damaging the cutting and/or shearing tools
allow the winding of the welded coils without damaging the material.
For those reasons, the system TeSLA 1500 can be used:
independently, for the production of big dimensions coils starting from coils of smaller dimensions, optimizing the production and reducing scraps
inside complex line for special applications such as laser scribing complex and cutting, shearing and punching lines.
The laser butt-welding coil-joiner TeSLA 1500 presents two independent clamping devices on sliding base frame.
The two clamps are initially spaced in order to realize the two cutting operations then they are brought closer in order to permit the welding operation.
Hydraulically controlled transverse positioning makes it possible to eliminate any misalignment between the two edges to be weld.
The cutting and welding heads are driven by a three-axis Cartesian gantry.
A dedicated laser cutting head permit to prepare the strip head and tail with the characteristics of quality for the subsequent welding operation.

REMOTE TECHNICAL SERVICE
The TeSLA 1500 CNC numerical control is appropriately configured and arranged for a remote technical assistance service.
This service enables assistance to be provided quickly and with the possibility of replacing damaged files, downloading customer files for carrying out analyses, sending updates, etc.
The Technical Service personnel is thus able to carry out an initial analysis of possible problems, also in the perspective of programming the type of intervention with the due precision.
