8th Grade Technology Education - This is a 20 week S.T.E.A.M. course.

"Units of Fun" and Problems include: Safety, The Customary System of Measurement, The Design/Problem Solving Process, Mechanical Drawing (Sketching, Manual Drawing, and C.A.D.), Use of Power Tools, The Air Powered Car Problem, and if time permits, The Mass Production Process(Plaques & Clocks). A brief writing assignment will be integrated into at least one of these units. Finally, Leadership and Management play a critical role in Problem Solving. Students will be given opportunities to experience these responsibilities.
