Riverview Memory Gardens was founded in 1963 by J.W. and Edna LeMaster. Today it has grown into over 30 developed acres, a 1530 crypt main mausoleum with memorial service chapel and one of four planned garden mausoleums. Riverview offers traditional ground burial, private family estates, interior and exterior mausoleum crypts, as well as cremation niches. Riverview is an Ohio non-profit, private cemetery offering Northwest Ohio a beautiful garden setting to remember their loved ones. Riverview has been operated by Mark & Trish Speiser since 2009.

Veteran Flags
Riverview's volunteers and employees place veteran flags each year on graves where we can visually identify a veteran. We cover 30 acres of graves to place these flags and appreciate any volunteer help. We are placing flags at 9AM, Monday May 15th, weather permitting, if you'd like to help. If your veteran does not get a flag, we probably couldn't see they were a veteran. We ask that you either call our office to arrange an emblem be permanently applied or you may get a flag and holder from our extras staked near our maintenance building and place it yourself. Emblems are free through the VA with a DD214 and a signed application. We can e-mail you the form to return with a DD214 if we can help get a VA medallion for your veteran.
Memorial Day Services
Memorial Day is just around the corner. We will have our usual 10AM service on Saturday May 27th at the Mausoleum Chapel. The local Veterans' Organizations will be out to help us remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Father Stites will serve as our guest speaker this year. Please drive out Saturday, bring a lawn chair and arrive in time for the 10AM start.

Office Hours:
The cemetery office is open by appointment mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays, but we are in by chance 10:00 AM - 3PM Tuesday - Thursday. Our work takes us outside quite often for funeral services, mowing and maintenance items. Cemetery grounds crew are usually on the grounds Monday - Friday between 10 and 2; earlier and later times are reserved for shop work and repairs. To schedule an appointment please phone us at 419-782-7027. If there is no answer we are with a family or on the grounds. We will return your call promptly.
