Will open on Wednesday, June 20 at 18 at the Mi & Ti Cafe in Contrà Busato 42 in Vicenza (near the Municipal Police Office) the personal exhibition of the artist Renato De Paolidal title Favored by the gods: water, with presentation by the architect Althea Amarante. The exhibition, with free admission, created in collaboration with Images Galleria d'Arte in Corso Fogazzaro and Associazione Arte Vicenza 219, will present to the public numerous works of painting by the artist, Veronese by birth and Vicenza by adoption.
Pictorial compositions gathered in a single dazzling fabric of luminous colors, evoking an intense feeling - we read in the criticism -. They are the colors of joy, nostalgia, tenderness, certainly the colors of the personal life of the original and unpredictable painter Renato De Paoli, who in the pictorial tract and in the creation of the image is delicate and seems to offer a suggestion, almost look for a dialogue. "So figures like the houses, just dashed, the creatures of plants and animals barely mentioned, the faces - especially the feminine ones - barely sketched, penetrate the meanders of our memory, touch the cords of our emotionality - in reality, in De Paoli's painting, it is the immediacy of the sign, sure and flowing that involves us and also the unpredictability of the instinctual gesture that catches surprisingly and pleasantly It may seem like an amused child Renato De Paoli, conversely he plays a pictorial discourse full of suggestions coming from afar and they evoke a polyphony of agreements that unite us in our human story: an original and restless artist who not only tells of himself, but also the exaltations, fears and hopes of all of us ".
Renato De Paoli (René da Sparè) is an eclectic and multipurpose character. Artist, writer and poet, he has worked with many architecture and urban planning professionals, specializing in architectural restoration in Vicenza under the guidance, among others, of Franco Barbieri. He is security coordinator, responsible for the historical and artistic heritage of Vicenza. Lecturer in training courses for the conservation and enhancement of the historical architectural heritage in Bologna, and in Vicenza. With his Edar editions, De Paoli published two collections of poems - Poesis '99 and Le sete ave marie, a photographic diary - The diary of the moons, a brief history of the Venetian fluvial civilization - In the time of the Goddess - in addition to catalogs art and other publications. In more recent years he has exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions, both collective and personal.
Last year De Paoli presented to the public a series of artistic postcards as a tribute to the city of Vicenza. Postcards by artists depicting some of the most striking views of the UNESCO heritage city: Piazza dei Signori with the Basilica Palladiana and the Torre dei Bissari; the church of the Servants with the Venetian calendar and heraldry; piazza delle Erbe seen from the arch of the Zavatteri; the four books of Andrea Palladio's architecture.
De Paoli was born in Sparè Isola sul Menago (Asparetto Cerea Verona). As a child he attended the many art shops of his "Isola": Sparè sul Menago. Son of art by his father Paolo-Paolino and his mother Rosa, he learns the art of wood restoration of the reproduction of art furniture. In his tavern the inspiration is under the auspices of the master Segattini who has filled the "ostaria" of works. In the summer he attends the art workshop of the master Loris Barini, and learns lacquering-gilding. He collaborates assiduously with Nicola Silvestrini di Nogara, progressing also in photography and architecture. He knows the work of the master sculptor Costantini of Caselle near Nogara. He trains with Maestro Scapini di Cerea in the "Appio Spagnolo" school.

Renato De Paoli and the colors
The exhibition opened these days at the Cafè Mi e Ti, anthology of the painter Renato
De Paoli, is a succession, chasing colors. Some refer to others, in
a sort of visual history where traces left, real streaks -
cracks that mark the different supports, act as background for the work
next.
In this exhibition, one can not detach the eye from such a pressing one
sequence, a single work can not be isolated because the risk is that of
nullify the context, to lose sight of the piece that induces (brings in)
to the next piece. Almost ring of a chain that, failing,
it undoes the structure itself, every single piece lives on its own naturalness
coloristic and coexist with that of the other rings / works.
The colors of De Paoli are tools, picks to undermine insipid obviousness
to account for a complex, structured reality. The contribution of the single
color chains to itself, and unleashes itself, that fragment of experience that
amalgamated to the other fragments and, at the same time estranged from those, it constitutes
the experience of everyday life, the perception we have of it, always
very personal, always different.
A perceptive diversity that does not facilitate the encounter with artistic expression
of De Paoli, but that actually, precisely because of the complexity of this approach,
guarantees an unexpected and engaging, alienating and visual encounter
penetrating, never superficial. It is necessary to be caught by these colors,
engulfing them in their breaches, in order to catch their extreme sense, the
ultimate meaning to which they lead. Extreme because there is a kind of
ineluctability in the sign of De Paoli, a reference to the essentiality of color,
once again understood as a fragment of a whole, chained to tell us
of himself. Last because there is a propensity in these signs to say something else,
an opening to infinity that overcomes the finiteness of the support in view of a beyond
which tastes like absolute.

I question myself about the intention of the author.
The art of De Paoli makes me think of the inexhaustible depth, Pansini, emeritus professor at the University of Brescia, of Bergamo of Cremona, as well as well-known writer, having studied various texts texts, explored in the hidden, here now, the work of De Paoli.

Veronese by birth, but Vicenza by adoption, hides behind a look always pleasantly "improvised", an authentic and versatile artistic vein.
Sitting with him talking, I am kidnapped by the amount of things that magically manages to extract, gesticulating, from his bag: postcards, sketches, reviews, catalogs of his works. My eye rests on two curious fishes, which bite inexorably and are sealed in a treble clef, while precise signs, outline pleasing glimpses of the city.
Female figures, with soft strokes, blend and blend harmoniously with the architectural aspects of her drawings.
Rigidity and softness, masculine and feminine principle, blend with mastery in his works. His immediacy and his sympathetic nonconformity capture the interest.
His works mix different objects and techniques, wisely used, that seem to print, glue or paint in its basic materials: canvases, postcards, cards, cardboards, billboards, stolen sometimes to the quiet of the historic center of Vicenza. Its colors are soft, as we can see in the work entitled "Sunset on the Bay of Angels", oil on canvas with light but decisive traits, which reveal a determined but sensitive character.
Instead, in the painting "Infinite eyes fish to the grotto", technical oil on canvas and cardboard, depicts friends almost "ethereally existing", which reveal in their presence an underlying and veiled solitude.
"Eyes and fish with big eyes" religiously awaken the Spirit inviting him to watch and investigate the meaning of life that flows like water in the eternal principle.
Who is Renato then? He is a custodian of the artistic and architectural heritage of our city of Vicenza.
He is an artist who plays down the heaviness of life with a jovial smile. His works are an escape from the world and from time, in the search for emotions and ideas, to be impressed and offered, to the soul of those who meet him.

In the Quaternary geological period, the presence of Homo Sapiens left traces of rock engravings. At the sites that have come to light, numerous graffiti are present on planet Earth, in the caves and along the stone sides of the mountains. They represent the reality of daily life, pastoral, agricultural with symbolic figures.
Renato De Paoli wants to transmit to posterity, the essence of his works, imbued with cultural education and imaginative ideas, which are in part suggested and elaborated by the complex structure of his DNA. Epigenetic Art is the Personal exhibition of painting letters and poems that De Paoli exhibits at The Dreams Caffe in Vicenza. Panels and boards of various sizes enliven the walls, are painted with brightly colored shades, the brushstrokes are decided almost impulsive, in stark contrast to the stylized drawings with lines and curves, in black and white that reveal memories of an experience. Among the favorite symbols of the author, there are faces and female figures and in presenting some friends and artists, he grants suggestive corners of the historic center of Vicenza.
Appreciation for the use of recycled material; nature thanks for saving a tree.
It is not easy to talk about Renato. In some respects, I identify it in symbiosis of the Crusader Words without a schema with the boxes to be inserted that are not black and the obligatory intersections rich in the fantasy of rebus. The eclectic artist Renato De Paoli (ours is also a poet, painter, researcher of beauty and artistic promoter) ... ... portrays with tenderness the roofs seen from a window of an attic of the Town Hall of Nogara and then there is the plant and the rise of Villa Capra called la Rotonda in a frame of other Palladian villas, including that of Pojana Maggiore, of which he also proposes the plan.
In Piazza dei Signori, in a background of black velvet, in succession we can admire the Palazzo della Ragione with its Lodges, the Bissara Tower and the Palazzo degli Uffici.
A mention deserves the reproduction of the noble coat of arms designed by Rossetti for the Venetian Dogato on which the symbols of all the Venetian domains are located.
....... we can deduce, as in the emblem, the ability to assemble a city in the space even if reduced by a rectangle, inside which the amateur will be able to make a very personal and metaphorical journey.

They range from the classical composure in the succession of basilica uffizi torre palazzo ... to the enchanted look on the roofs, poetically sung after having them for months or years kept under the watchful eye from their workplace. It then runs to the "temple to live" by Andrea Palladio, the Rotonda, almost pedantic in the writing of plants and raised if not enlivened by decorative sketches and the frame of villas created by the Renaissance genius and scattered over the Veneto territory, by the youth of Poiana Greater than that of maturity in Maser. What is most striking about three other postcards is the synthesis reduction of Vicenza around the statue of Andrea della Gondola or framed above the measured Roman and decumanus Roman ruins. It is not enough an hour to decipher every postcard in this series to read a story that goes from deep antiquity to more recent times; and on this story the stratigraphy of the buildings. As in the case of the collapsed Gothic Basilica, collapsed, wonderfully saved by the Renaissance genius. And so, in extension, in the narrow space, they enter, where the eye from the beginning perceived chaotic signs, the architectural beauties of a city poetry. Poetry is a word that I do not create, but I steal from the graffiti that Renato puts under the camouflage disguises between the swirl of signs.
If in front of Guernica di Picasso you first perplexed and then marveled at the intensity of feeling enclosed in the signs to evoke the massacre and the torment ... so before each of these provocations, overcome the superficiality of our presupposition, born in heart the gratitude to hold in your hands the best of a city of art.

"Renato De Paoli and the post-poor art"
The artist thrives on emotions and expresses emotions through his work.
Here it is an artist, our Renato De Paoli, who sifts the Corso Palladio to recover the discarded material in front of the shops. Billboards, cardboard, cards.
In his improvised studio with colors, brushes, paints, etc. creates, unites paste, cuts, sews.

In the portraits there is a post-expressionist sprint. A good design of a face goes beyond trying to grasp a flash of intimacy of the personality of the subject. this is done lightly with a feather.
Renato De Paoli is from a life that is expressed with the design, self-taught, as an observer of the reality that surrounds it. For play as a joke.

Le composizioni pittoriche di Renato De Paoli esposte in una sapiente e ordinata mostra in un elegante Cafè vicino a Corso Fogazzaro, in Contrà Busato 42, è da ravvisarsi in singole opere, bensì in un unico prezioso tessuto smagliante di luminosi colori, evocante un intenso sentire. Sono i colori della gioia, della nostalgia, della tenerezza,certamente i colori della vita personale dell'originale e imprevedibile pittore qual'è Renato De Paoli, è peraltro in quel tessuto , già a prima vista che si accendono i nostri turbamenti, le nostre sensazioni. Infatti Renato De Paoli, nel tratto pittorico e nella creazione dell'immagine ,è delicato, morbido; e sembra offrire un suggerimento, sembra cercare un dialogo.
Così figure come le case, appena tratteggiate, le creature vegetali e animali appena accennate, i volti ( tanti i volti femminili) appena abbozzati , fino allevocazione astrattadella lezione di Pollok e Fontana, penetrano in meandri della nostra memoria,toccano corde della nostra emotività. In realtà, nella pittura di Renato De Paoli, è l'immediatezza del segno, sicuro e fluente che ci coinvolge ed anche l'imprevedibilità dell gesto istintuale; è la iridiscente luminosità delle trame , tese su tavole, ci cattura sorprendentemente e piacevolmente. Può sembrare un innocente , divertito, giocherellone fanciullo Renato De Paoli, di converso egli svolge un discorso pittorico denso di suggestioni che giungono da lontano e suscitano una polifonia di accordi che ci accomunano nell'umana nostra vicenda. Insomma, un artista originale e inquieto, che non racconta solo sé stesso, ma racconta anche le esaltazioni, le paure, le speranze di tutti noi.

De Munari Antiquariato e Servizi per l’Arte vince il bando indetto un bando per la gestione del mercato dell’antiquariato Comune di Vicenza,che ha scelto il progetto di Francesca De Munari “ miglior proposta per professionalità e proposte innovative”.
Il mercato si tiene si tiene in centro Storico di Vicenza ogni seconda domenica del mese da settembre a giugno..Il progetto “De Munari” si conclude nel settembre del 2019.
Francesca De Munari oltre che direttrice della omonima galleria antiquaria è anche Storica dell’arte e accompagna la sua competenza professionale a quella davvero appassionata di cultrice di arti, E’ stata protagonista a metà luglio protagonista di una speciale recita artistica impegnata nel ruolo di organizzatrice dell’evento “Pittura a Olio ….aglio peperoncino”, in Piazza Duomo. Un evento quest’ultimo pure ben riuscito, svolto anch’esso sotto gli auspici del Comune di Vicenza e della Assessore al Commercio Cordova..
