Referee Academy:

The WV SRC and the WVFC Capital Cup are pleased to announce that US Soccer National Referee Coaches Yuya Kiuchi and Nichole Kramer Kiuchi will be our guest coaches for the duration of the event.  We will be hosting a referee academy for the event, allowing selected referees to receive additional mentoring, educational sessions and support during the event.  Please complete the attached form to apply for the academy.

Yuya Kiuchi is a former Class 1/Professional referee from Japan (Japan Football Association). He is currently a PRO assessor, national referee coach, and the national assignor for Michigan. As the State Director of Referee Development of Michigan, he works with his team to develop referees and coaches/mentors across the state. He has also been a lead instructor for U.S. Soccer at National Referee Camps and National Referee Coach Camps. 

Nichole Kramer-Kiuchi is a U.S. National Referee Coach with 21 years of experience in officiating and four years serving at the national level as a national referee coach. She has delivered referee instruction both domestically and internationally, supporting the development of officials across multiple adult and youth competitions and environments. She currently serves on the Michigan Referee Committee as the Manager of Referee Coaches, where she oversees coach development and mentoring initiatives, and is an active college assessor.
