SketchUp 2014 Verified

With the introduction of SketchUp 2014 and it's internal changes/enhancements it was noted that some plugins were behaving unexpectedly.

All of current Wodwurx Plugins for SketchUp were tested with SketchUp 2014 and verified to work. If however you are experiencing something out of the norm, please do contact me for analysis and solution.

In order to install your Wudworx plugin in SketchUp 2014 do the following:

  1. If your existing original plugin file ends with a ".zip" extension rename it to ".rbz" instead (if your plugin file already ends with ".rbz" extension you can skip this step)

  2. Start SketchUp and open the Extension Preferences window

    • Windows: Windows->Preferences->Extensions

    • Mac: Sketchup->Preferences->Extensions

  3. In the Extension preferences window, click on the "Install Plugin" button at the bottom

  4. Navigate to where you saved the wudworx.rbz file in step 1 and click Open/Select to install the plugin

    • If a window pops up warning you that some file access is required or will be performed click OK as this is normal and expected.

  5. After the plugin is installed (step 4) scroll down in the extensions list above and check the "Wudworx" plugin to activate it

Cheers!
