Using Google Docs
- sign up for a Google Account, then log in
- go to your Google Drive - this is the management area for your files
- choose 'Create' and you may choose which type of file you'd like to create
- click on 'Untitled' to give your document a title
- by default, your document is private only to you; click on 'Share' to provide access to others
- to share the document link with others, you may wish to use a URL shortener

- go to todaysmeet.com
- give your room at name - something easy for your students to remember and type
- choose a length of time for your room to remain active - you will see that your choices range from 2 hours to 1 month
- create the room
- add your name to join the chat, then post a question or challenge for your students
