Authorized Users
- When not scheduled, the MDC may be use by any authorized lab users who have been "checked out" on the machine.
- To get checked out on a The MDC make an appointment with an Authorizing Lab Monitor.
- Each instance of use require the approval of an Authorizing Lab Monitor.

Procedures
Authorized users must:
- Register their project,
- Schedule a time to use the machine (see below)
- Request authorization to use the MDC
- Fill out an operator checklist while using the machine.
- Report any problems to the Lab Monitor
- Clean the machine and the work area.
